After a massive showing at the global box office, even breaking records in several different markets, it comes as no surprise to us that Sony’s Venom movie already has its sequel in the works. Yes, it’s official news.
In speaking with Discussing Film, one of Venom’s screenwriter, Jeff Pinkner, was asked what fans could expect from the sequel. Pinkner didn’t give away any secrets, but he did the next best thing by confirming the follow-up film’s existence.
“I cannot say anything other than that it’s happening,” he revealed. And when asked whether or not he was the one who will be writing the sequel, he replied, “I am not. As of now, I am not.”
Again, this is not much of a surprise that gave Venom’s success at the box office. In spite of negative reviews from the critics, the movie has still grossed more than $850 million worldwide. Venom is also setting itself up for a sequel with its post-credits scene, which features the debut of Woody Harrelson stars Cletus Kasady, better known as the villainous Carnage.
During Venom’s production, it’s always the intention of the creative crew to have Cletus Kasady appear as a bridge, setting up the story for the eventual sequel.
“So when we were thinking about including the scene and laying the groundwork for a potential sequel, he’s the first person I thought of. And a just because selfishly I am so excited to work with him again, whether it is in Zombieland 2 or the potential sequel to this film,” director of Venom, Ruben Fleischer, told Comicbook. “If you think about Natural Born Killers or Mickey, the character he played in that movie, I feel like there is a real lineage that you can trace from Mickey to Cletus. And I also think that he has not gone dark in that way for a while.”
This scene is the second collaboration between Fleischer & Harrelson since the duo worked together on Zombieland. Harrelson starred in the horror-comedy as zombie killer Tallahassee, while Fleischer was the movie’s director. Both men will be likely to reprise their roles in Zombieland 2, which will likely enter production next year.
Are you excited for a Venom sequel to arrive? Let us know in the comments. And stay tuned to HeroHyper so you won’t miss something!
Joker Is Currently in the Top 10 Films of All Time on IMDb
Four days into the global release, Joker has climbed the IMDb rankings and now is #9 greatest movie ever in the chart.
According to the Internet Movie Database, as known as IMDb, Joker becomes one of the greatest films ever made. Meanwhile, the vote count does not reflect critic opinions, like Rotten Tomatoes. Instead, it shows that audiences have been reacting positively to Todd Phillips’ psychological thriller, a story about Arthur Fleck’s transformation into a vengeful clown, bringing him face-to-face with his alter-ego: The Joker.
Since Joker’s wide U.S. release, the movie has already broken massive box office records. On its first Monday, Joker earned nearly $10 million during non-holiday. Joaquin Phoenix stars as the title character, Arthur Fleck, an aspiring stand-up comedian who turns to a life of crime after being humiliated, disregarded, and seemingly abandoned by a system designed to protect his mental health. Joker was intended to be a stand-alone movie, but clearly sets up a sequel with its in-universe Gotham references and final act climax. Todd Phillips’ film may not be for everyone, but those who enjoy it are making their presence known at IMDb.
At IMDb, Joker is currently the 9th highest-rated movie. The 9.0 weight average rating is based on a 1-10 system, along with more than 193,000 user votes thus far. Approximately 55% IMDb users have given Joker a 10 rating, with another 23% showing their approval with a 9. The subsequent percentages progressively go down from 8 to 2, even though it is telling that 1.4% of IMDb users have given Joker the lowest rating possible.
Currently, the IMDb score of Joker may please fans, but it is likely to decrease with time. However, that doesn’t mean the film will not be considered a classic by many, but it will also speak to how a world of moviegoers generally reacts to the movie. IMDb’s current Top 10 list reflects films that speak to societal themes about outliers and justice. For example, The Shawshank Redemption now tops the list, a movie that is primarily focused on an inmate’s quest to break free. Meanwhile, The Godfather and The Godfather: Part II are ranked at two and three, respectively, two movies that are fundamentally about crime – but more about society and family. The other slots of Top 5 include The Dark Knight, a movie that features the iconic Joker performance by Heath Ledger, and 12 Angry Men, a film about the American justice system. All of these movies have narratives about loss and redemption.
As time goes by, Joker (2019) may fall from IMDb’s Top 10 or even Top 100. And while that could be important to some fans, what truly matters is that Todd Phillips’ film continues to spark conversations about modern cinematic culture. Joker was indeed set in 1981, but the narrative parallels modern societal issues, and how some people feel like they have been forgotten and treated unfairly for one reason or another. That’s also a concept that likely correlates with the high IMDb rating. As for the violence in Joker, the depiction is not the same as endorsement.
So, how about you? Did you enjoy the movie?
Joker is now in theaters.
First Trailer for Birds of Prey Officially Released
The Birds of Prey have officially landed.
Warner Bros. released the first trailer for Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), the latest live-action entry into the DC Extended Universe. Check out the full trailer above.
The Birds of Prey trailer previews a fun female-led adventure set within the world of the DCEU. It also appears the movie will largely focus on Harley Quinn (played by Margot Robbie), who has a new lease on life after her break up with The Joker (Jared Leto). Directed by Cathy Yan with a script from Christina Hodson, though Birds of Prey is not a Suicide Squad sequel, the film will continue Harley Quinn’s storyline and bring more heroes to the DCEU on the big screen. In this process, Birds of Prey introduces audiences to the movie’s wide array of beloved DC Comics characters. They are Black Canary (Jurneee Smollett-Bell), Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco).
In the upcoming DC Comics film, Birds of Prey will follow an unlikely team-up between the gang, as they work together to rescue Cassandra Cain from one of Gotham’s most vicious crime lords, Roman Sionis/Black Mask (Ewan McGregor). The movie’s cast also has Ali Wong, Charlene Amoia, and Chris Messina as Batman supervillain Victor Zsasz.
It looks like Birds of Prey fans have been eagerly waiting for the trailer for quite some time, after a brief costume test teaser unveiled the film’s cast back in January. Also last month, a teaser trailer was revealed exclusively in theaters, coinciding with the screenings of IT: Chapter Two. Following the Birds of Prey poster debut, now that the official trailer is finally here, fans will get to see the one-of-a-kind wild ride that the movie has in store – unlike any DC film thus far.
“You can expect something fun and a bit wild and totally unique,” the Huntress actress, Winstead, recently said in an interview. “Every day, we were there doing something that just felt really weird and funny, and unlike anything else, I have seen before in this genre. It was incredibly exciting to get to do that. We really got to work. We just played, and we had fun.”
So, what do you think of the first trailer for Birds of Prey? Share with us in the comments below.
Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) heads toward its release date on February 7, 2020. And now the promotional campaign kicks into high gear with the trailer.
Spider-Man Officially Comes Back to Marvel for the Third Movie!
Ever since the news first broke that Sony Pictures decided to move on with the Spider-Man franchise without the involvement of Disney and Marvel Studios, rumblings and rumors have persisted while fans were super thrilled to know whether the studios would ever be able to reach a new agreement, bringing back Spider-Man to Marvel’s home. Eventually, after weeks of negotiations over his future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, now it looks like our friendly neighborhood officially returns for one more adventure!
According to Deadline, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have agreed to make one final movie that will finish the trilogy that began with 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, effectively ending the intro trilogy of the Wall-Crawler with the MCU. The reports said the main cast from the first two movies is expected to return for this third and final Spidey film. That includes Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, and Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan. Co-produced by Sony’s Amy Pascal and Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige, the final movie will be directed by Jon Watts.
As part of the deal, the third Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland will not be the last adventure in the MCU, though which one was not unveiled. Kevin Feige said in a statement:
“I’m thrilled that Spidey’s journey in the MCU will continue. I and all of us at Marvel are very excited that we’ll get to keep working on it. Spider-Man is such a powerful icon and a hero whose story crosses all ages and audiences around the globe. He happens to be the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes, so as Sony continues to develop their own Spider-Verse, you’ll never know what surprises the future might hold.”
As for the other future MCU film which Spider-Man will actually appear in, it is likely to be some kind of team-up since that is what he previously showed up in for Marvel. Whether it could be Avengers 5 or a crossover with Venom, though, remains to be seen. For now, it means that the new deal of Sony and Disney allows the filmmakers to follow up the cliffhanger ending of Far From Home in the manner they originally intended. We will get to see what happens with Peter Parker after his secret identity was outed by J. Jonah Jameson.
“This is terrific,” Amy Pascal stated. “Peter Parker’s story took a dramatic turn in Far From Home, and I couldn’t be happier that we’ll all be working together as we see where his journey goes. This has also been a winning partnership for the studio, the franchise, and the fans and I am overjoyed it’ll continue.”
So now, fans can rest assured that Spidey will stay in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, at least for the time being. Sony and Marvel Studios set the film to hit theaters on July 16, 2021.

Marvel Studios’ The Infinity Saga Trailer Released
Throughout the last decade, Marvel fans have been treated with the cultivation of the most successful superhero movie franchise in history, with over 20 films leading up to the epic events of Avengers: Endgame. Now all of these flicks have fallen under one banner, with Marvel Studios treating each entry as an important installment of The Infinity Saga. The series might have come to a close with Iron Man snapping his fingers, eventually eliminating the threat of Thanos and the Infinity Stones. However, this story will continue to play a major part among fans of the franchise.
With a brand-new box set collecting all 23 movies thus far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans can prepare for the released with the first official trailer for the Infinity Saga. That was a surprise delight for fans who attended San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), and now it is available for the rest of the viewing public. You can watch the full trailer, in all its glory, above.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has previously been teasing the release of a major Infinity Saga collection for quite some time. And now we are getting our first glimpse of the narrative of the entire shared universe. While fans have been clamoring for something substantial from the major movie franchise, now it is here!
Still, there is no release date for the home video release of the Infinity Saga quite yet. However, Feige has made it clear that it would be worthwhile for many Marvel fans.
“If we do a big, a giant Infinity Saga box set, we might include – I am assuming if you are going to spend the money to buy a box set with everything in it, you are a fan,” Feige told Empire Magazine in a Q&A. “And it will take more than a couple of really, really bad scenes to turn you.”
There has also been a lot of talk about deleted scenes from Marvel films. And while not all of them have made the light of day, Kevin Feige already gave his statement.
“I like sharing those scenes,” he noted of a deleted Endgame sequence that was unveiled recently. “So when we have something like that that we love, and which even was not an easy decision to cut out but the best decision for the movie. It is a great avenue to say, ‘We will put it out there.’ It is not like nobody will ever see it. There are things that we think no-one should ever see. I think we have just recently been discussing that now we can start to show some of our less proud moments.”
Words coming out of SDCC suggested just how epic Marvel Studios’ Infinity Saga trailer was. And now that it has made its way out into the world at larger, it is clear that those notices were not hyperbolic. Certainly, it remains to be seen if the next chapter of the MCU will measure up to what has come before, or if the Infinity Saga will end up being looked back on by fans as the peak of the franchise. Either way, millions cannot wait to find out.
“Birds of Prey:” First Official Poster Released
The latest look at Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) has officially arrived today. And it’s safe to say that it is doing so in style. Released by Warner Bros., the upcoming DC film now takes wings in its fabulous first teaser poster!
After a short Birds of Prey movie teaser #2 previously screened in theaters with IT Chapter Two, this brand-new poster also reveals full cast. Circling Harley Quinn’s noggin from left to right is Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya, Chris Messina as Victor Zsasz, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Ewan McGregor as Black Mask, along with Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, and Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain. Check out the Birds promo art below.
Written by Christina Hodson and directed by Cathy Yan, Birds of Prey is based on the DC Comics team of the same name. The movie will see Harley Quinn team up with superheroes like Black Canary and Huntress along with Gotham City police detective Renee Montoya. Together, the gang will face off against the villainous Black Mask and Victor Zsasz in order to protect the young Cassandra Cain, who eventually dons the mantle of Batgirl in the comics.
So yes, birds. As in the poster, the 2020 movie in which Margot Robbie reprises her role that made her a DC Extended Universe star. Birds of Prey poster features a dazed-looking Harley Quinn surrounded by small, winged versions of the movie’s cast. It is a fun, colorful concept that reminds us that when it comes to getting stuff done, Harley Quinn is always preferred to wing it. Now she is here to ensure that if there do happen to be any objects orbiting around your head, they are birds.
Furthermore, the Birds of Prey poster loosely references Harley Quinn’s mental illness, with the characters portrayed with wings flying around her head. That’s an homage to classic cartoons where birds fly around the heads of characters who are dazed or otherwise out of it.
As we saw in 2016’s Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn was driven mad by the Joker (played by Jared Leto), and the full title of Birds of Prey hints at her distancing herself from the Clown Prime of Crime. Alongside previous rumors about that version of Joker will appear in the upcoming movie, nothing has been confirmed just yet. We may have to wait until the first official trailer of Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is released. But with this debut of the poster, hopefully, we will not have to wait much longer for footage.
Marvel Studios Reportedly Developing Silver Surfer Film
Theories have been popping up constantly regarding the MCU ever since Disney brought the Fantastic Four and X-Men characters back into the Marvel Cinematic Universe fold with the deal for 20th Century Fox. Since then, fans have wondered when they will start to see some of those characters appear in the MCU, whether that be their standalone movie or streaming on Disney+. According to a rumor from GWW, Marvel Studios is in their first stages of development on a Silver Surfer film.
Created by Disney Legend Jack Kirby, Silver Surfer a.k.a Norrin Radd made his first appearance in Fantastic Four #48 in 1966. His debut marked the introduction of the Galactus mythos, with Silver Surfer as one of his Heralds. The character then became a major part of the Marvel Universe, assisting the Fantastic Four, Thor, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and joining the original Defenders. His first and only appearance on the big screen was in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), played by Doug Jones and voiced by Laurence Fishburne.
Still, things are early, so not much details of the project are unveiled beyond that its in the works. At one point, filmmaker Adam McKay previously said he would love to do a Silver Surfer movie. However, we are not sure if that is something he still has time to direct the film; or what Marvel is looking for as far as their vision for the character.
“Silver Surfer is the one I want to do, man. I’d do anything to do Silver Surfer because, visually, you could do what the Wachowskis did with Speed Racer with the Silver Surfer,” said Adam McKay. “At the same time, there is a great emotional story in there, where Norrin Radd has to make a choice to save his planet. So that would be the one, but I think Fox owns the rights…”
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige also said in the past that the cosmos were the next place to be explored in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And with Eternals now in the works, and Guardians of the Galaxy franchise is already a cosmic success, it’s not shocking that the studio has big plans for Silver Surfer. It could also be a good way to introduce Fantastic Four, and probably the next big supervillain Galactus.
So, some of the biggest cosmic Marvel characters has made a return under the Disney/Fox merger, including the Fantastic Four, Galactus, Annihilus, and Silver Surfer. That would make sense to see these characters start to make their presence known over Marvel’s Phase 4 and beyond. The MCU cosmic side is not as deep as the earthbound side, although there has been quite a bit introduced since Iron Man kicked off things.
And if working towards an Annihilation style event is one of Marvel’s plans, introducing characters like the Surfer, Nova, Annihilus, and the Shiar Empire will be paramount. Now that can do just that. Whenever Silver Surfer is introduced, it will likely be in the form of a cameo in another movie or as part of an event film. But who knows, maybe Marvel will give him his own solo film as they did with Captain Marvel though. Either way, it is interesting to see if this will pan out.
So, are you looking for a potential Silver Surfer film? And what do you want to see from it? Share with us in the comments!
Iron Man Star Robert Downey Jr. Reportedly Returning to MCU for Black Widow
It looks like the casting for Black Widow spinoff has not done just quite yet. A new report from Deadline says MCU star Robert Downey Jr. will be appearing one last time as Tony Stark in the Scarlett Johansson film releasing next May. Black Widow will kick off Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, actually set between the events of Civil War and Infinity War, making it a prequel rather than a continuation of the post-Endgame story.
While the casting of Robert Downey Jr. has not been confirmed by Marvel Studios just yet, fans still have their reason to believe that he will be reprising his role as Iron Man. However, potentially that could be just a cameo from Robert Downey Jr. or his very minor role.
Alongside Scarlett Johansson returning as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, the upcoming film will include David Harbour suiting up at Russian version of Captain America, Red Guardian, as well as Rachel Weisz and Florence Pugh as other Black Widow agents. The main supervillain of Black Widow is Taskmaster – a formidable foe thanks to his “photogenic reflexes” that allow him to observe and copy any fighting style quickly.
During Marvel’s Hall H panel at Comic-Con last July, the clip of Tony Stark warning Natasha “They are coming for you” from Civil War is used before leading into new footage from the movie. That includes scenes of Natasha on the run, so it is implied Black Widow will explore the period when she is hiding from the United Nations. In that case, Natasha may seek out help from Tony or at least contact him at some point in the movie. Though during the airport battle, they helped Captain America to escape, Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff were still friends. And if Nat were truly in trouble, Tony would help out any way he could.
Then again, while Tony Stark coming to Natasha’s aide during Black Widow is a possibility, any involvement on Robert Downey Jr.’s part might also be for a flashback scene. Black Widow prequel will be exploring Natasha’s journey; it is also expected to develop her backstory further. This could involve flashbacks to her training in the Red Room, but it may include a new perspective on her time with Tony Stark during Iron Man 2. It may even be that Robert Downey Jr. does not film a new scene at all. Instead, his appearance in Black Widow is compiled from previously footage.
Whatever the reason for the return of Robert Downey Jr. in Black Widow, it is sure to be some time before anything official is announced publicly. After all, while it is possible Deadline accidentally revealed something that Marvel Studios wanted to be kept a secret, probably they just got their wires crossed.
Black Widow hits theaters on May 1st, 2020.
James Gunn Reveals Full Cast for The Suicide Squad
Now that the full cast of James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad film has been revealed. The list was loaded with star powers, returning stars from the original movie, and introducing a few new cast members for DC films.
According to James Gunn’s tweet, the cast list includes: David Dastmalchian, Nathan Fillion, Sean Gunn, Taika Waititi, Daniela Melchior, Viola Davis, John Cena, Joel Kinnaman, Juan Diego Botto, Alice Braga, Peter Capaldi, Idris Elba, Jai Courtney, Mayling NG, Storm Reid, Steve Agee, Julio Ruiz, Joaquin Cosio, Flula Borg, Pete Davidson, Tinashe Kajese, Jennifer Holland, Michael Rooker, and Margot Robbie.
Posting a graphic showing off the 24 names signed up to the forthcoming movie, James Gunn wrote ominously: “Don’t get too attached. #TheSuicideSquad.”
— James Gunn (@JamesGunn) September 13, 2019
As we can see, several cast members from Suicide Squad (2016) will reprise their roles, including Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, and Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang. The rest of the list has not been confirmed which character each star would play. And this time it looks like Will Smith and Jared Leto won’t join The Suicide Squad for their initial roles as the Deadshot and Joker. The previous report said Deadshot would be removed, and Idris Elba would be attached to a new role which has not been unveiled yet. On the bill, we also find former WWE legend John Cena and Thor director Taika Waititi amongst the cast members. In addition to helming the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder, Taika Waititi also directed an episode of Star Wars: The Mandalorian, which will premiere with the launch of Disney+ in November.
The tweet also comes with the first look at The Suicide Squad logo. It takes the inspiration from the original comic book logo directly, as it appeared on John Ostrander and Luke McDonnell’s Suicide Squad #1 in 1987.
Meanwhile, Warner Bros. and DC Comics are gearing up for production on The Suicide Squad, which will assemble the film cast in Atlanta next week. With the return of James Gunn as writer and director, The Suicide Squad is set to begin production this month and scheduled to shoot in Georgia for three months before heading to Panama for about a month, according to early reports.
If The Suicide Squad follows the trend of recent DC Comics films, it will tell an isolated story without relying on connections to other heroes and villains scattered across the big screen universe.
“I think that’s the goal,” producer Peter Safran said in an interview. “It’s giving heroes their time to shine and not feeling like you have to shoehorn in some universal connection amongst them all. The studio has been incredibly supportive, and DC has been supportive about saying, ‘Take the time that you’ll need to introduce these characters in the right way and tell the stories that audiences want to see with those characters.”
Guardians of the Galaxy filmmaker James Gunn will be at the helm of The Suicide Squad before he heads back to Marvel for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
The Suicide Squad is due to hit theaters on August 6, 2021.

Furthermore, it seems that Disney+ will be taking the Disney Afternoon into the digital frontier, as the streaming service announced an “ideal afternoon schedule” which suggests that they’ll be making several popular kids’ shows from generations past available on their platform. According to the tweet below, other classics like DuckTales, TaleSpin, Chip N’ Dale Rescue Rangers, Gargoyles, and Darkwing Duck will also be part of the upcoming lineup streaming exclusively on Disney+. While DuckTales has been revived in a new form and even has a “classic” art style, the rest of the series have not.

3:00 pm – DuckTales
3:30 pm – Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers
4:00 pm – TaleSpin

— Disney+ (@disneyplus) September 10, 2019
The hit ‘80s and ‘90s series can be streamed – even if you pay to buy or rent them – on Amazon Prime or some other platforms, but will not stream free anywhere as far as we can tell. Darkwing Duck doesn’t appear to be streaming even if you pay for it. For years, fans could not get their hands on decent-quality copies of the shows in questions, with DVD releases coming fairly late to the game. A number of older series that the House of Mouse has in their vaults, such as the original Muppet Babies and House at Pooh Corner, are still unavailable at all.
Disney+ kicks off on November 12 this year. The service will cost $6.99 per month (or $69.99 per year).
Sony Says “Door is Closed” on Spider-Man in the MCU
Spidey fans hoping to see the friendly neighborhood return to the MCU after Sony and Marvel Studios split are out of luck now. It looks like they will have to wait a little longer. Maybe a lot longer. Recently, Sony Pictures has spoken out about this subject, showing no signs of intention in taking back their collaboration with Disney any further, at least for now.
At Variety’s Entertainment & Technology summit, Sony Pictures CEO Tony Vinciquerra opened up about the future of Spider-Man in the MCU, saying: “For the moment the door is closed.”
Rather, Sony will push forward with their own cinematic universe focused largely on Spider-Man characters. The initial deal allowed Spider-Man to appear in Marvel Studios films to co-exist with the Avengers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But now it was expired following the success of Spider-Man: Far From Home and the fact that Marvel’s parent company Disney wanted a considerable lift in their cut of the box office revenue for Spidey movies. However, Sony essentially did not agree.
Tony Vinciquerra said there was “no ill will” between Sony and Marvel. That could be a good sign for a potential conversation in the future, and cryptically said, “It is a long life,” in regards to the subject.
“We had a great run with [Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige] on Spider-Man movies,” said Vinciquerra. “We tried to see if there is a way to work it out … the Marvel people are terrific. We have great respect for them; on the other hand, we have some pretty terrific people of our own. Feige did not do all the work.”
Still, Sony Pictures has no plans to slow down with their efforts on Spider-Man. Furthermore, according to the chairman, a Venom sequel is now on the way, along with “fix of six” shows based on the Spidey world. By the sound of it, the studio might just be adding Spider-Man to the world of Venom or other titles like Morbius. He also pointed to the massive success of the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, as a proof that the studio is capable of going it solo in this superhero genre.
“Spider-Man was fine before the event movies. He did better with the event movies, and now we have our own universe. He’ll play off the other characters as well,” said Tony Vinciquerra. “I think we are pretty capable of doing what we have to do here.”
So at this point, the Spider-Man future seems only undetermined from the perspective of fans who have been still hoping to see him return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Meanwhile, Sony and Disney have both been firm on their stance of not collaborating going forward or so. Unless something changes, this could be the way the movies will go now.
Can Kevin Feige pull off another miracle? We have to wait and hope for it. Share your thoughts with us!
