“Spider-Man: Far From Home” Stars Jake Gyllenhaal Finally Making the Jump to Superhero Franchise

Published

on

The star Jake Gyllenhaal wowed Marvel fans with his short, but breathtaking debut as Mysterio in recent Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer.

Though Jake Gyllenhaal has long been on the outside of the superhero world, save for almost being cast as Peter Parker in Spider-Man 2, his new villainous turn did change all of that. And fans are completely supportive of his casting.

During an interview on The Late Show on Wednesday night, host Stephen Colbert asked Jake Gyllenhaal about taking on the role of Mysterio, and eventually joining a superhero franchise. He also asked the actor why it took him so long to make the jump, in spite of always expressing interest in the genre.

“I would have [always] loved to, and this was the shot,” Gyllenhaal replied.

Colbert continued to say that Jake Gyllenhaal has been known for his work in smaller, wackier art house movies. So Gyllenhaal joining the MCU was a bit of a departure from that. However, despite the differences, he seemingly did enjoy his experiences working on Spider-Man: Far From Home.

“Yeah, it is,” he said. “I guess the movies I made are a little weird, sometimes.[But] It’s different and fun. It was really fun. I was then looking for a role in a space like that. And it felt like I could do something with it. And I did something with it. I do not know how good I did with it. But I did something with it, and it is very exciting!”

As Jake Gyllenhaal went on, he said that Spider-Man director Jon Watts alongside the rest of the cast actually made the film kind of a different experience than he might have expected.

“There is, sort of. But actually, it feels like a smaller sized movie when you are acting with the actors. They are great in the movie. There is a great cast in that. And actually, Jon Watts is fantastic. He really makes a space where we can try things out and play around. And it does not feel like you are just sort of automaton, doing whatever.”

As we saw in the Far From Home trailer, Mysterio is going to be a fairly complicated character in the film. We all know that he is a villain in the comics, but he is acting a lot like a superhero when he fights off Hydro-Man. This could be an elaborate scheme, or a major identity crisis. Either way, it makes for a compelling addition to the ever-evolving Marvel Cinematic Universe. And certainly, we are glad an actor like Jake Gyllenhaal did land the part.

Spider-Man: Far From Home swings into theaters on July 5 this year.

Avengers: Endgame Fans Can Now Rent Tony Stark’s Cabin on Airbnb

Published

on

By

Now die-hard fans of Avengers: Endgame can spend the night in one of its most iconic filming locations. Recently, according to a listing on Airbnb (via u/Brayud), a lakeside cabin in rural Fairburn, Georgia is now available starting at $355 per night. Upon closer inspection, there is no mistaken the cabin is where Tony Stark’s family lived during Endgame – and on a sadder note, this location of Stark’s final farewell towards the end of the movie.

Tony Stark and his daughter, Morgan.

The listing says this property is just a 20-minute drive from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, something that likely would help production manage to get all those actors on-site for that scene. The three bed, three bath cabin sleeps up to six guests and looking at the schedule, it still has plenty availability left this month, before available nearly the entire month of July – at least at the time of this posting.

“Set in the middle of beautiful Bouckaert Farm and home of Chattahoochee Hills Eventing, this guest cabin could be your home away from home,” reads the cabin’s listing. “ Need to get away from it all without traveling more than 30 mins from Atlanta? And need to have a corporate retreat with your elite team? Need to come take the kids fishing or watch a horse show? Then this is your place.”

It also should be pointed out that the listing no smoking, parties, or events are allowed on the premises so if you’re hoping to throw a buckwild Avengers: Endgame party, it looks like you are out of luck.

After Tony Stark himself was killed off during Endgame, fans were quick to throw their support behind a petition demanding Marvel Studios to bring Iron Man back to life, which then found a cult following online.

“MCU’s Tony Stark deserves to come back fully alive,” reads the petition. “Tony was always ready to risk his life, to suffer, and even sacrifice himself for anyone, without ever receiving anything in return. Since the beginning, since he was just a kid. Tony can never be happy, and when he finally got what he always wanted, and deserved, his wife, his daughter, his family,… he died. He did not deserve this, and it is not fair. After everything he has been through and done for everyone, he deserves to live and see his daughter grow up.”

Meanwhile, Avengers: Endgame continues its box office run ahead of Spider-Man: Far From Home swinging into theaters July 2. Captain Marvel is already available digitally and will get a home media release on June 11.

Avengers Star Chris Evans Wants a Buddy Comedy With Chris Hemsworth

Published

on

By

After playing the stoic pillars of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the better part of a decade, friends and co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans are now ready to try something a little different with their careers. As for Chris Hemsworth, the actor has already started down this path, even in his later MCU movies, trading in his Asgardian sensibilities for a wild sense of humor. Between his roles in Avengers: Endgame, Ghostbusters, and the upcoming Men in Black reboot, Chris Hemsworth has made clear that he is down for more comedic roles. And it sounds like Chris Evans wants in on the action.

The duo has become good friends during their time with Marvel Studios, beginning with the first Avengers film back in 2012. In fact, they have gotten so close over the years that the God of Thunder star claims that he and Chris Evans cannot do press tours together because they would spend their time “screwing around and none of it will be on topic.”

Though it may sound like a stretch, the story Chris Hemsworth told is very true. Recently, Variety reached out to Chris Evans for a comment on the matter, and the Captain America star confirmed what his buddy had claimed. However, he did not stop there. After acknowledging the fact that the two are not allowed to do press together, Evans said that he would like to break the molds of their MCU characters and star in a buddy comedy with Hemsworth sometime in the future.

“We had too much fun together, truly like kids in school. We were separated because we could not get shit done,” Chris Evans said of his relationship with Hemsworth. Evans later added his own ideas about the next movie they should do together, “I’d love to do one of the ‘80s buddy comedies, where we could shed the characters we’re known for.”

Meanwhile, the turn for Chris Hemsworth has already started.

Even though he is still taking on serious action roles from time to time, Hemsworth is also down for a comedic turn at any time. It is this ability to be both series and hilarious in the same movie that kept the star interested in Thor when he thought he was ready to hang it up. After getting together with Taika Waititi for Thor: Ragnarok, Chris Hemsworth is having more fun with the God of Thunder than ever before. And he also has made it clear that he would play the role again if given the opportunity.

Keanu Reeves Reportedly In Talks to Star in Marvel Studios’ The Eternals

Published

By

According to a recent report, it sounds like John Wick could bring his particular set of skills to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Though there is a lot of fan art clamoring for Keanu Reeves to join Marvel Studios as the new Wolverine, it is possible that the actor could be taking on an entirely different role altogether.

As fan site MCU Cosmic reports, Keanu Reeves is currently in talks to join the cast of The Eternals from director Chloe Zhao. Keanu Reeves would be joining Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, an Kumail Nanjiani in the upcoming Marvel flick that will continue to expand the cosmic side of the franchise.

Keanu Reeves as John Wick.

Though MCU Cosmic does not reveal what part Keanu Reeves could possibly be playing, they do note that he hasn’t yet signed on and that the talks are still underway. Apparently, Marvel Studios is seeking Keanu Reeves out to join their film.

The Eternals is one of the mysterious projects in the pipeline from Marvel Studios. It’s one of the few confirmed movies we actually know is coming out. Meanwhile, producer Kevin Feige is excited to see it happen, as he explained to Bionic Buzz last year.

“You are reaction about not being familiar with The Eternals is perfect, because most people were not familiar with Guardians [of the Galaxy] and believe it or not, there were people that weren’t familiar with Avengers or Iron Man,” the president of Marvel Studios said. “So as for us, it’s finding great stories whether they’ve heard of them or not and bring them to the big screen in an amazing way as we can.”

During promoting Captain Marvel earlier this year, Kevin Feige also reiterated those points.

“Eternals are one group. We like the idea of introducing an ensemble and doing an ensemble film from the start, as opposed to building up as we did with the first Avengers. And more like Guardians, not tonally, but in terms of introducing a new group of people,” Feige previously told Collider. “You were asking about the ‘60s and ‘70s before. Jack Kirby did an immense and amazing epic with Eternals that spans tens of thousands of years. And that is also something we have not really done, which is why among many other things post-Endgame, we find appealing.”

However, keep in mind that this is the same source that claimed Avengers: Endgame was going to be titled “Annihilation.” and Deadpool would likely show up next in a Disney+ series or the third Spider-Man film. That said, anything is possible. Stay tuned!

Scarlett Johansson Reportedly Begins Filming Black Widow

Published

on

By

It appears that Black Widow has officially started production overseas. First reports surfaced earlier this month that second unit photography had begun and now, it looks as if Black Widow’s Scarlett Johansson has arrived on location in Ørsta, Norway. Though it cannot be confirmed with the set photos that have surfaced, a high-profile figure with a similar likeness to Scarlett Johansson was seen being picked up from a private plane by a VIP car service. Also included in set photos were signs for Blue Bayou, the working title for the film that Johansson is the producer.

Recently, Sunnmørsposten, a local Norwegian newspaper, has confirmed with their sources that Black Widow is, in fact, supposed to begin filming in the area. Though it is a bit early, previous reports suggested the movie would be shooting at some point in June, with the majority of principal photography supposedly taking place at the Pinewood Studios campus in the U.K.

Still, little is known about the film proper, the latest reports have speculated Black Widow would take place sometime after Captain America: Civil War. Whatever the case, it is pretty clear the film will end up being a sequel in light of Nat’s death in Avengers: Endgame. When Endgame screenwriters Christopher and Stephen McFeely were asked about how they decided to write the character despite her solo movie, the duo admitted they were not fully aware of the project as they started writing the fourth Avengers film.

“We were not fully aware of [the Black Widow movie], even when that became clearer that it was one of the things they were intending to do, but no one told us not to do what we were doing,” Christopher Markus explained.

“Right. And that is a function of her arc, right?” added Endgame co-writer, Stephen McFeely. “She finally found a purpose, a family, and even being willing to sacrifice everything for that family. So I think of her as perhaps the strongest person in the whole movie. She is the woman on the wall in the five years. Even when Captain America has doubts, and I remember he says to her, ‘Maybe we do not need to be doing this.’ She doesn’t share that opinion.”

Avengers: Endgame is now playing in theaters. Captain Marvel launches on digital May 28 and lands in Blu-ray collections June 11.

“Avengers: Endgame:” The Second Movie Ever to Cross $800 Million Domestically

Published

on

By

And just like that, Avengers: Endgame has reached another milestone.

Thanks to an extended holiday weekend, the latest Marvel Studios film eventually has become the second movie ever to cross $800 million at the domestic box office. In the fifth weekend in theaters, Avengers: Endgame has grossed north of $803.63 million domestically, strengthening its second spot in the market of all time.

This weekend has been exceptionally kind to the movie after a series of the larger-than-typical week over week drops. Dropping over 50% in each of the first four weekends, the four-day weekend allowed Avengers: Endgame to mark just a 25,6% drop over last weekend’s gross over $29.97 million. In total, Endgame earned an estimated $22.3 million stateside this weekend.

Despite crossing $800 million domestically, Avengers: Endgame still trails Star Wars: The Force Awakens by a healthy $133 million, an uphill battle as the Marvel property heads deeper into its theatrical release. Globally, Endgame is just $103 million away from Avatar’s highest-grossing film title, something that industry experts anticipate will not happen until Labor Day weekend, if this blockbuster can stick it out in theaters that long.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner. Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Danai Gurira as Okoye and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, with Gwyneth Paltrow Pepper Potts, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Benedict Wong as Wong, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and Josh Brolin as Thanos.

Avengers: Endgame now continues its box office run as the film moves into the second month in theaters. And the Avengers flick will be followed by Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 2 while Captain Marvel will be released digitally on May 28 ahead of a home media release on June 11.

Sony Rumoredly Wants Venom in Spider-Man 3, Not Deadpool

Published

on

By

Recently, a Marvel insider claims Sony Pictures is trying to include Tom Hardy as Venom in the third Marvel Studios-produced Spider-Man film, disputing a report from days ago that claimed Disney-owned Marvel was considering introducing Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool in the sequel of Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Twitter account @RogerWardell, who previously leaked major spoilers for Avengers: Endgame that ultimately turned out to be legitimate months later, says there is “no plan” for Deadpool in Spider-Man 3 but Sony instead “desperately” wants Tom Hardy’s Venom opposite Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. He further claims Disney-owned Marvel Studios will keep the Deadpool franchise, acquired as part of Disney’s acquisition of Fox’s entertainment assets in March that worth $71.3 billion, running parallel to its other properties.

The May 24 rumor from MCU Cosmic also claimed that Marvel was working over multiple options to introduce the Merc with a Mouth. It could be a third Ryan Reynolds-led solo movie, a live-action series on Disney+, or involvement in the Spider-Man 3, which pairs Tom Holland’s wall-crawler with veteran super-spy Nick Fury (star Samuel L. Jackson). Iron Man (star Robert Downey Jr.) who played supported in its predecessor, 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Sony controls Spidey live-action screen rights and allows the character to operate in Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe, where this teenage superhero was knighted as a member of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in Avengers: Infinity War before helping save the universe in the latest Endgame.

Meanwhile, Venom launched Sony’s Universe of Marvel Characters, an unconnected and apparently Spidey-less continuity.

Amy Pascal, the producer on both Venom and the rebooted Spider-Man franchise, once said the Sony-produced movies would act as tie-ins for the MCU. She told FilmStarts back in June 2017 the films “will now take place in the world that we’re creating for Peter Parker.”

“They will be adjuncts to it. They may be different locations. But it’ll still all be in the same world,” said Pascal. “They’ll be connected to each other as well.”

However, though she tried, perhaps mistakenly, to characterize the SUMC as an offshoot of the MCU, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige later told AlloCine there is “no plan” for Venom in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, calling the Tom Hardy movie “a Sony project.”

Amy Pascal later clarified her comments during the Spider-Man: Homecoming press tour, explaining “all these characters are part of the Marvel comic book universe.”

“In that universe, they’re all related to each other. Kevin [Feige] makes characters in the MCU,” she said. “These characters are separated, except for Spidey, who belongs in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is why he is there.”

When asked if that rules out a future Spidey and Venom crossover, Kevin Feige replied, “We never say never.” He added a merger between the two universes was unlikely to happen “any time soon.”

However, Venom producer Matt Tolmach believes such a crossover will come “at some point.”

“The obvious thing that we’re all excited to do is have Venom face off against Spider-Man at some point. We knew we could not use Spider-Man in this movie or did not want to use him in this movie,” Tolmach previously told LRM. “But we were really excited about the potential for Spider-Man and Venom at some point meeting up in the future.”

In the meantime, the upcoming Far From Home will seemingly delve deeper into the concept of the Multiverse, potentially allowing for a future Spidey-Venom crossover.

“We also had to look at it in terms of the scope of what happened at the end of Endgame. Seeing all these crazy things that they did and all the questions that raise,” director Jon Watts told Fandango.

“So definitely we are trying to answer one of the big ones – alternate timelines. Many possibilities opened up at the end of Endgame, and Peter Parker is one of the few people on the ground dealing with them.”

When asked how Far From Home differs from Sony’s animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse – that saw multiple Spidey people crossover into one shared reality – Jon Watts replied, “I would not dare [explain]. I will let Nick Fury do that.”

Spider-Man: Far From Home opens July 2. As for Venom 2, Sony has dated the film for October 2, 2020.

Marvel’s Chris Evans Played More Comic Book Characters Than You Think

Published

on

By

With Avengers: Endgame, Chris Evans has officially ended his tenure as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The end of an era has gotten Marvel fans nostalgic in such a big way, as they remember the path of Evans’ career, and how his persistent work in comic book roles led to his current iconic status.

Most people think they know Chris Evans’ comic book role off-hand. He played Johnny Storm/Human Torch in the original Fantastic Four movies (2005). He was a smarmy comedic hacker in DC’s adaptation of The Losers comic book (2010), and finally had his big breakout as Steve Rogers/Captain America in Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) debut. However, some enterprising fans dug much deeper, now positing that Chris Evans has actually played over half a dozen comic book roles, in a total of 18 movies!

The Many Comic Book Characters of Chris Evans from marvelstudios

Here is the breakdown form a Reddit user “WhatsThisReferencing”:

1. Johnny Storm/The Human Torch – Character Based off the Fantastic Four Comic Books
Fantastic Four (2005); Fantastic Four and the Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007)

Snowpiercer (2013)
8. Loki – Based off the Original Comic Boom Series “The Mighty Thor,” in Thor: The Dark World (2013).

If you did not know it before, this should prove it beyond the shadow of a doubt: Chris Evans’ geek cred should never be questioned. This man has put more into getting us into the era of comic book movie dominance than most have (except for Djimon Hounsou). Definitely, Chris Evans made one of the biggest impacts on the genre. Here is what he recently shared about the struggle of leaving his role of Captain America behind.

(Chris Evans’ debut in Captain America: The First Avenger)

“For the last month of filming, I was letting myself go to work every day and be a little overwhelming and little nostalgic and grateful. By the last day, I was bawling. I cried pretty easy, but I was definitely bawling… When you are playing a character for a long time, you start to see the parallels between what the character is going through and what you are going through,” Evans added. “And you start to look at your own conflicts and circumstances through the eyes of someone who might handle it better than you would.”

Avengers: Endgame is now in theaters.

Marvel Rumoredly Considering Introducing Deadpool in Spider-Man 3

Published

on

By

One of the most pressing questions for Marvel Studios moving forward is how to integrate the wildly successful Deadpool franchise into the film universe. Now that the ink has dried on the contracts and the Walt Disney Company has fully acquired 20th Century Fox. And Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has a dilemma on his hands when it comes to incorporating Ryan Reynolds’ popular film series into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

A new report from MCU Cosmic indicates that Kevin Feige and his round table are considering numerous options for the best way to move forward, hopefully capitalizing on the goodwill Ryan Reynolds has earned from the success of Deadpool and Deadpool 2, as well as the PG-13 rated version released over the holidays.

According to the fan site, Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios are looking at three possible paths. And at least, one of them is to bring the foul-mouthed Deadpool into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Those options include going forward with Deadpool 3, or introducing the character in a Disney+ series (which will likely soften the hard edges that are inherent to Deadpool’s current incarnation), or possibly even making him a big part of their third Spider-Man film, which would give Sony Pictures a cut of that pie.

Still, none of that has been confirmed. A Disney+ series seems unlikely, considering they are sticking to family friendly content and would likely not allow Ryan Reynolds to be as edgy as he’s in the first two movies (not to mention, paying the superstar salary for a streaming service show or run the risk of recasting the character outright). This also comes from the same site that says Disney+ will never revive the Netflix Marvel shows because of their mature nature.

One of the other options, of including Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool in the sequel to Spider-Man: Far From Home, seems even less likely because of one core reason: Disney will not see any of those profits. Sony distributes the Spider-Man movies and makes all of the money off of their massive success, but Marvel and Disney benefit from the increased exposure and subsequent merchandise sales. It is hard to believe that they would even consider introducing one of their most popular characters in such a movie they will not even make money off of at the box office.

At this point, all of these are just rumors, but rest assured that Marvel Studios does have plans for the character going forward. Maybe they will call the movie Deadpool: Annihilation…

So, what do you think? The last film of the Marvel’s Phase 3, Spider-Man: Far From Home, hits theaters on July 2.

Sharon Carter and Baron Zemo Reportedly Returning for Falcon & Winter Soldier Series

Published

on

By

In the first big bit of casting news for Marvel Studios’ shows streaming on Disney+, Daniel Brühl and Emily VanCamp are reportedly set to reprise their roles from Captain America: Civil War in the upcoming Falcon & Winter Soldier. According to Deadline, the two stars are in talks to appear in the six-issue mini-series, apparently the first of Marvel’s offerings for the new Disney streaming form.

Daniel Brühl will be playing the antagonist Helmut Zemo, who is the live-action version of the Captain America comics archnemesis Baron Zemo. On the other hand, Emily VanCamp will reprise her role as Agent Sharon Carter/Agent 13, the SHIELD agent turned CIA agent that works under Everett Ross’ (Martin Freeman) Joint Terrorism Task Force.

Recently, during a convention appearance, Bucky Barnes star Sebastian Stan mentioned that he liked Ed Brubaker’s Winter Soldier comics, and he hoped to see some of that run adapted to live-action.

“I think my favorite is all the Ed Brubaker stuff,” said Stan. “That’s my favorite stuff. And it was really great to get to do some of that in the movies. You know, I’d love… I always say this all the time, but I think it’d be really interesting to see like the whole Winter Soldier that we have not seen yet. And if you think about it, he had a whole other life sort of as this ulterior ego so to speak. It’s like when you see the Winter Soldier now he is sort of like a machine in the movies. But before that, there was actually a real character there. And that was the character that had friendship with Black Widow. But you know, we will see what happens.”

Emily VanCamp made her debut in 2014’s The Winter Soldier but played a larger role in 2016’s Civil War, where it was revealed that she was the great-niece of SHIELD co-founder (and, somewhat cringe-ily, another Steve Rogers love interest), Peggy Carter. We have not seen her in the MCU since then.

Meanwhile, Daniel Brühl played Baron Zemo, a vengeful Sokovian solder who wanted to destroy the Avengers after his family was killed during the battle of Sokovia in Age of Ultron. Baron Zemo was then taken prisoner at the end of the film, but the potential certainly existed for him to escape.

Still, there is no word yet on how either Carter or Zemo will figure into the plot of the show, but Sam Wilson/Falcon accepting Captain America’s shield will factor into the story as well.

All six episodes of this miniseries, which will reportedly air in August 2020, will be likely directed by Emmy nominee Kari Skogland. Her credits also include episodes of The Walking Dead, Under the Dome, The Punisher, and many more.

Kari Skogland would be one of several women taking the reins behind Marvel cameras as the studio heads into its post-Endgame slate, joining a list that includes Black Widow standalone film director Cate Shortland and The Eternals‘ Chloe Zhao.

The Falcon and Winter Soldier will premiere exclusively on Disney+ streaming service in August 2020.

Avengers Star Scarlett Johansson Gets Engaged to Colin Jost

Published

By

It looks like some congratulations are now in order for Scarlett Johansson. According to the latest report by the Associated Press, the actress has officially gotten engaged to her long-time boyfriend Colin Jost after quietly dating for two years. Still, there is no set date for their wedding at this time, says Marcel Pariseau, Johansson’s publicist.

Fans over the world are now sending their congrats to the actress and her fiancé. Recently, Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost made a public outing together for the red carpet premiere of Avengers: Endgame. The couple was photographed looking as so happy as could be, and fans are sending their best wishes to the pair.

Colin Jost and Scarlett Johansson at the red carpet for the premiere of “Avengers: Endgame” on April 22, 2019 in Los Angeles, California.

For Scarlett Johansson, this marriage will be her third. She was first married to Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds as before they separated. The MCU star was previously married to a French journalist Romain Dauriac in October 2014 shortly after having her first child, Rose. The couple then separated in 2016 before officially divorcing in September 2017. And later that year, Johansson began her relationship with Saturday Night Live co-writer and actor Colin Jost.

Obviously, this announcement is a joyful one for fans, and her supporters are glad to hear Johansson is livingly happily. Not too long ago, Scarlett Johansson did remind the world of the hardships which come with being a celebrity as she told ET about a harrowing experience she had with the paparazzi. After filming a talk show to promote Endgame earlier this spring, the actress revealed a set of men stalked her as she left the set and broke numerous traffic laws all in the sake of getting photos of her with her daughter.

“Yesterday, after leaving the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show, I was followed by five cars full of men with blacked out windows. They were running red lights and putting other drivers and pedestrians at risk to follow me so they could find out where I was staying, and they subsequently stalk me with my young daughter for the duration of my stay,” the star shared her bad experience.

“The paparazzi even put people’s lives at risk, so they could wait for days in quiet neighborhoods in blacked-out cars. They try to follow me to the playground and photograph my child and also other people’s children in a safe place that should be off limits, but it is not. All of this is perfectly legal. After the incident, I felt that it was my duty as a concerned citizen who was being pursued dangerously and stalked to go to the local precinct and seek guidance there. I’d encourage others in a similar situation to go to the police.”

Back in 2017, Scarlett Johansson appeared on an episode of “Saturday Night Live [SNL],” where Colin Jost does “Weekend Update” as a head writer along with Michael Che. After that, the two were reportedly dating and began a relationship. And eventually, she is tying the knot with her fiancé Colin Jost.

We will see her return on the big screen as Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff when her standalone movie arrives sometime years later.

Congratulations, Scarlett Johansson!
